Daniel Fast: Congratulations you made it. God has already blessed our fast unto Him. We also anticipate the continued work that he is going to do within us. To God be the Glory!

Women’s Ministry: All of our women of the United Fellowship had an awesome time getting to know each other yesterday. Thanks to Sis. Madeline for leading our women.

Liberian Fellowship: Thanks to all who journeyed to Pittsburg to worship with United Nations Church on last Sunday. It was an amazing afternoon of praise.

“Flat Screen Fundraiser” In order to purchase a 40” flat-screen and hardware for our media presentations. If you would like to donate please designate it on your check. It was suggested that if you roll any loose quarters and bring them in that will be a big boost to the fundraiser. Also, all cans and plastics for the month of January will go toward this fundraiser. The target is $400.00.

Easter! As we prepare for Easter, get ready for two services with a breakfast in between the two; 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. It will be a busy weekend, but make plans now to attend and invite an unsaved friend or loved one.

Sunday School: New Life Classes will continue each Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Pastor Richardson is organizing these classes to be taught by our associates, Elders and others. Topics will vary across the Christian perspective.

Christmas Toy Drive: Every 4th Saturday, we will collect toy donations to ease the burden at the end of the year. We have a special request for toys for infants 0-9 months and teenagers over age 13. If you have any questions, please contact Sis. Sharon or Sis. Wonderful.

Listen In! Pastor Nichols is hosting portions of KDYA’s Pastor’s Forum, on 1190 AM and will air Saturdays at noon. Be sure to listen in!

Daniel Fast: This Sunday is the last Sunday of our fast. Halleluhah! Let’s continue the momentum until the end of the month. Eyes have not seen nor ears heard what God has in store for us in 2015! Fasting helps you to see God’s plan more clearly and with focus. We can do it.

Liberian Fellowship: This afternoon at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Nichols is the keynote speaker at United Nations Church (C&MA) in Pittsburg, Ca for their 3rd year church Anniversary celebration. Pastor Nichols has been a key advisor to this church plant from inception. Here to Praise will accompany him in ministry. They will serve dinner after the worship.

13th year Anniversary Celebration: Thank you to everyone for a wonderful celebration of both church Anniversaries. A special thanks to Sis. Liz and team for all of your organization and service.

Announcements

Ushers:  Pastor Nichols met with those interested in being Greeters and Ushers on last Sunday.  We had about five people who attended the meeting.  Please encourage them as we see them begin to serve.

Thank you:  A big thanks those who listened to the Pastor’s Forum Radio Program on yesterday, hosted by our very own Pastor on KDYA 1190 the light.

Pink Sunday:  We would like to thank Sis. Madeline and the Women’s Ministry for helping us observe “Breast Cancer Awareness Sunday” on last Sunday and for providing such a wonderful reception after church.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast:  Nov 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.  Join the New Men to experience, “When Men Pray!”  Guest Speaker:  Pastor Todd Battle.  Invite another brother today.  Let’s rep our sports team by wearing our Jerseys.  All men are asked to participate and we need your help.

Purity Celebration:   We had several ladies complete a six-week purity class earlier this year.  Let’s celebrate them on Sunday, November 9th at 6:00 p.m.  Guest Speaker is motivational speaker and author Dr. Lakita Long, MS, MFTI, PhD.  Come and encourage our young ladies.  Young men are invited too.

100 Women in Red:  December 6 at 5:00 p.m.  All Women are asked to meet with Minister Martha after church today to discuss this creative and lively women’s program.

Bible Study!  On Tuesday and Wednesday we will jump back to Chapter 4 in our Study books   See you there at 7:00 p.m. each night.

Prayer Team got you covered:  It will soon be very cold in the Bay Area and The Upper Room Intercessors will spearhead a coat collection of all sizes and types of clean used coats.  We will hand them out with our baskets during the Christmas season.  More details to follow.

Recycle:  We would still like to continue our recycle drive as we save for future ministries such as camp and other domestic choir tours.  Let’s keep the cans coming.
