12th Church Anniversary Celebration

Praise God from whom all blessings flow. This is the theme that was seen in action on yesterday as New Hope Church Community celebrated our 12th year Anniversary. “Praising God for His mighty Acts,” Psalm 150!

All three services were filled with joy, remembrances, laughter and hope as we recalled our journey of faith. The entire congregation worked together to pull off three worship services that sent praises up to the heavens. Headed by Sister Elizabeth Rogers, our deaconesses and culinary ministry provided a delicious, hot, sit-down meal for our guests as they traveled from San Francisco, Pittsburg, Sacramento and as far away as Los Angeles on a rainy Sunday to celebrate with us.

Our very own District Superintendent, Doug Swinburne, preached the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. worship services. Dr. Rodney Legget of Faith Fellowship and the President of the North Bay Ministers Union preached the 3:00 a.m. worship.

New Hope’s Praise Teams, Mass Choir and praise dancers served faithfully all day. Jacob and Denise Correa blessed us with their ministry in song.

It was a power packed day of joy. All three services were filled to capacity as we enjoyed our newly renovated sanctuary, admired the newly installed cross and unveiled two new window tapestries that were created by Deaconess Michelle Savoy and her creative team.

As we enter into a new year of ministry we praise the Lord in advance for what he is going to do.
